Our Saint Thomas Bobcats are on the Prowl for championships!
This is a snapshot of bobcats sports from a few weeks back

Bobcat Soccer -

To begin, our men’s soccer team has continued to exceed expectations and dominate the Sun Conference! Led by Sun Conference Coach of the Year, Feliks Matz, our Bobcats ranked third in the country for NAIA’s across the country to finish up their season. Their dominant regular season was concluded after a loss to Keiser University, which

handed them their only loss of the season. However, their 15-1-1 record was still good enough to win the Sun Conference 2023 regular season title! We look forward to watching our Bobcats compete for a national championship in the next few weeks!

Bobcat Football -

Our Bobcat football team continues to pounce on their opponents! Our Bobcats are ranked 17th in the country and have won 4 straight games, including back-to-back dominating performances in which our Bobcats scored over 70 points! Our Bobcats impressive season has been built off the backs of running back Rontavious Farmer and quarterback Keely

Watson on the offensive side of the ball. They were aided in succession by our defensive side by outside linebacker Kendall Wilson II and defensive lineman Omilio Savage. The Bobcats play their final game of the regular season in a highly anticipated game against Thomas, which will feature each of our Bobcat seniors to cap off an impressive and positive season!

Bobcat Basketball -

Our Bobcats are on the hunt for another great season! To begin the season, our Bobcats are 2-0 and ranked 11th in the country! After back to back nail-biting and stellar games against Washington Adventist and Faulkner, the Bobcats will face a tough opponent in #22 Mobile; our Bobcats toughness will be put to the test. Our Bobcats had a more than impressive season last year, as they look to recreate some of that magic this year and continue to defy expectations!

Bobcat Swimming -

Our Bobcats Men’s Swim team continues to excite fans as they begin the season ranked #2 across the country. Our Bobcats lost a devastating season opener to #1 to Keiser University. Our Bobcats look to bounce back at the FIT Panthers Invite, which they can continue to show why they were ranked #2 in the first place!

Bobcat Rugby -

​The rugby men have had an awarding pre-season so far. Before being moved up to the highest level of rugby in Florida, Division 1, the men had to beat two D1 schools to prove themselves worthy. Their first test was a friendly game against the FAU Owls, it was anything but lackluster from our Bobcats, with a win of 90-0. Then the second test, another friendly, was against a mightier opponent, the UCF Knights. It was a big victory with a win of 43-7; this really put the nail to the coffin. This proved our bobcats  were worthy of a higher division. On the women’s

 side, Head Coach Gavin McLeavy has brought in a new hand to help, Coach Morgan Freeman. Freedom has an impressive individual track record, by being an England Pathway Player at the high school level. He then played with Phoenix, Lindenwood, Fort Miami, and Premier Rugby 7’s, a professional rugby club. With her level of experience, Coach Gavin is very excited about having her direct the new program. ​​
